Malvern, PA (June 19, 2007) — Accessible Archives, Inc., a publisher of full-text searchable historical databases, will make finding aids to its collections of 18th and 19th century American newspapers, periodicals and county histories available on Paratext’s 19th Century Masterfile.
19th Century Masterfile aggregates indexes, pointers and other finding aids to 19th century materials into searchable form, providing links to the electronic full-text files where available. Paratext will produce finding aids and pointers to Accessible Archives’ databases for inclusion in 19th Century Masterfile, the leading resource for exploring pre-1925 literature through over 65 specialized indexes to books, newspapers, patents and government documents published during the late 19th and early 20th century.
Accessible Archives’ current offerings include African American Newspapers: 19th Century; The Civil War: A Newspaper Perspective; The Charleston South Carolina Gazette; The Liberator – Boston, MA; The Pennsylvania Gazette; American County Histories to 1900 and Godey’s Lady’s Book, among others.
