The South Carolina Gazette is Complete

Malvern, PA (March 1, 2009) – Accessible Archives, Inc., a publisher of electronic full-text searchable historical databases, has announced the online availability of the South Carolina Gazette, 1732-1780. This new release features full XML and image availability.

The collection contains a wealth of information on Colonial/Early American history and genealogy, and provides an accurate depiction of life in South Carolina and America during the years prior to independence. Parts I-V (1732-1775) including the Gazette of the State of South Carolina (1777-1780) are currently available.

Additional papers from the same era are expected to be mounted and available by late Spring 2009. These titles will include the South Carolina Gazette & Country Journal (1765-1775), The South Carolina & American General Gazette (1769-1775); The Carolina & American General Gazette (1766-1769) and the Charlestown Gazette (1779-1780).
