Accessible Archives Inc. and Ex Libris Provide SUSHI Reports

Malvern, PA (May 25, 2011) - Accessible Archives, Inc., a database publisher, has made usage reporting easier for its customers who have a relationship with Ex Libris Group.

Accessible Archives provides access to primary content from the 18th and 19th centuries. Ex Libris has recently certified Accessible Archives as a SUSHI-compliant vendor, meaning their joint customers can subscribe to monthly reports for Accessible Archives databases. SUSHI (Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative) is a protocol of COUNTER and NISO.

Accessible Archives Activates COUNTER Compliance Capabilities

Project Coordinated by Unlimited Priorities Corporation

Malvern, PA (January 7, 2009) – Accessible Archives, Inc., a publisher of electronic full-text searchable historical databases of 18th and 19th century American newspapers, periodicals and county histories, has announced that the company is now fully COUNTER compliant. This project was completed in conjunction with ISSEL, a British firm highly proficient in the implementation of COUNTER, and coordinated by Unlimited Priorities Corporation acting in a consultative role.

Dissemination of Accessible Archives’ COUNTER statistical data began January 2, 2009, with full data – including publication-specific information — accessible from December 1, 2008. Actual reporting begins with May 2008, but includes only activity data from that date until November 30, 2008. Once COUNTER requirements were fully understood Accessible Archives was able to begin collecting more complete and useful data.
