Thanks for Visiting Accessible Archives at IAJGS

Thank you for visiting the Accessible Archives exhibit booth at the 2011 IAJGS International Conference in Washington, D.C.  We appreciate your interest in our archival database collections, and are eager to discuss your specific interests with you.
Founded in 1990, Accessible Archives publishes electronic full-text searchable historical databases containing primary source materials from 18th and 19th century American newspapers, periodicals and county histories.  These selected unique resources provide access to events during the critical periods of colonial America and the first century of the young American Republic.  Offerings include African American Newspapers: 19th Century; The Civil War: A Newspaper Perspective; A Soldiers’ Perspective and A Generals’ Perspective; The Charleston South Carolina Gazette; The Virginia Gazette; The Liberator – Boston MA;  The Pennsylvania Gazette; American County Histories To 1900 and Godey’s Lady’s Book, among others.  As you continue to review and expand your library’s research capabilities, we hope you will want to add some of these important collections to your holdings.
Accessible Archives has retained Unlimited Priorities as its exclusive sales and marketing agent. A staff member will be contacting you to discuss your purchasing decisions and to answer any questions you may have.

We are presently offering collection completion discounts on select collections.  We hope you will want to take advantage of these opportunities to acquire one or more of these important databases at their current price levels.
